Lola is our gorgeous Jack Russell. She was born in June 2010 and spends most of her time at the Funeral Office.
As she has grown up, Lola has developed her role as a bereavement dog, in much the same way that pat dogs visit nursing homes and hospices. Her presence has encouraged noticeable changes in many people.
Many of our clients have met Lola and now come in specifically to see her. There is something about the innocence and friendliness of dogs that helps enormously when we experience bereavement. Their love never falters.
Of course, if you don’t like dogs, there is no problem at all. Lola stays out of the way until you want to meet her, and she’s very used to that.
