Jen Barham – Director
Jen joined Murrant Family Funeral Services in 2019 and became Funeral Operations Manager in 2022. She then went on to become joint owner and director alongside Rob Heath in 2024.
Jen is a continuous point of contact for families and cares for each family on the day of the funeral. Jen is responsible for the day to day running of our branches. She also looks after the people in our care, and is a kind and empathetic point of contact for families.
Jen is available to meet families both in the branch or in the comfort of their homes for all aspects of the funeral arranging process and beyond.
Rob Heath – Director
Rob, alongside Jen became joint owner and director of the business in 2024. Rob is a kind and understanding point of contact for families and offers pall bearing and conducting on the day of the funeral, ensuring all aspects of the day run smoothly.
Rob has a 28 year history within the funeral industry and is able to offer families support and guidance as well as being a friendly face within our branches.
Rob is actively involved with the rest of the team in supporting our local community.
Sandra Abbott – Funeral Operative
Sandra joined the team in 2020 and is based part time at our Martham branch.
Sandra is available to offer support and guidance to families both in the branch and by telephone. She maintains contact with our families throughout the funeral arrangements and beyond, offering a kind and sensitive approach.
Sandra is a key member of the team and being local to our branch in Martham is known by many in our community.
Charlotte Boarder – Funeral Operative
Charlotte has been with us since January of 2024 and has a back ground in the hotel industry. Charlotte is available as a lovely point of contact for families and is based part time in our Great Yarmouth branch.
Charlotte is learning all aspects of the funeral industry and assists with looking after the people in our care as well as making funeral arrangements and supporting families with a friendly and kind approach. Charlotte is able to meet with families in our Northgate branch in Great Yarmouth, as well as offer support over the telephone.
Michael Murrant – Civil Celebrant
Michael became a qualified Civil Celebrant in 2014 after many years in the funeral industry. Michael is part of the Martham community and is a well known face who offers guidance and support to families while meeting with them to put together a loved one’s funeral service.
Michael works alongside us to ensure each service is unique and meets with each family to learn about their loved one ahead of delivering their funeral service either at a crematorium or at our Great Yarmouth premises.
